The Boise Open Golf Tournament will celebrate 30 years at the Hillcrest Country Club this week as once again some of the top golfers in the world make their way to Boise.

Tournament play is Thursday-Sunday with pro-am events today-Wednesday

For those not familiar with the caliber of player, Boise Open Alumni include Rickie Fowler, Jason Day, Tony Finau and Justin Thomas who just this weekend won the PGA-BMW Championship.

For the record, Finau finished 4th at the BMW and Fowler tied for 11th.

Once again parking is free and there is a shuttle to the golf course. Daily tickets are $15.00 and Saturdays ticket includes admission to a concert by Justin Moore at 6:30 p.m. at the Golf Course. By the way, all proceeds from ticket sales go to local charities.

The Saturday night music concert has become a big hit in recent years and for the 30th straight year there will be a Wednesday night Junior Golf Clinic at no charge.

Gates open at 7:30 Thursday morning for the open round
