Boise State basketball coach Leon Rice has announced the signing of Roderick Williams, a 6-7 215 pound forward from East Los Angeles College.

Williams, a native of Los Angeles, averaged 19 points and 6.6 rebounds a game in his two seasons with East L.A....The Huskies went 24-6 this past season and won their division title.

Williams also played at Price High school in Los Angeles where he won a Wooden Award as high school player of the year in his division. ESPN ranked Williams the 19th best player in California his senior year at Price.

Williams will join five other new players becoming Broncos for the coming season, Riley Abercrombie, Jaycson Bereal, Pat Dembley, Mikey Frazier and Max Rice.
