Once again the Boise State Bronco football team is officially in the college football playoff picture.

Boise State's 59-52 OT win at Colorado State was BSU's 6th win a in a row and at 8-2 the Broncos appeared at #25 in the College Football Playoff poll.

Boise State fans can finally talk about the possibility of the Broncos in a New Years Six Bowl. Among the group of five teams eligible, Boise State is third behind 15th ranked Central Florida and 21st ranked Memphis.

Next up for Boise State is Air Force on the blue Saturday at 8:15. The Falcons have beaten the Broncos three straight games so as head coach Bryan Harsin said earlier this week, there should be no motivation needed.

In 2014 BSU turned the ball over 5 times losing 28-14. In 2015 the Broncos lost 37-30 and last year's final was 27-20 after Boise State failed to score from inside the 5 yard line on four tries.

Here's the deal, each of those seasons Boise State was vying for a conference title and the same will be true Saturday night.

Early projections have Boise State playing Stanford in the Las Vegas Bowl December 16th but a much bigger fish bowl could be waiting if Boise State were to win out, including the league title game and finish 11-2.

Who would have thought this possible after the Virginia game and a 2-2 start?
