There's not much that Boise, Idaho and Baton Rouge, Louisiana except that both towns college football teams could be spending New Year's Eve together in Atlanta.  If this prediction hold true, BSU would be the first non-power five program to compete for the national title.    According to Pete Fiutak, from College Football News, Boise State will benefit from a chaotic college football season that would allow them to get into the college football playoff.  Ohio State and Oklahoma are the other two teams that are picked for the final four.  Boise State continues to gain national respect in preseason predictions.  Last year, the Broncos were picked to play Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl.  Unfortunately that prediction did not pan out.

BSU is guaranteed to play at least one team from Louisiana.  They open the season traveling to Lafayette to take on the 'Ragin Cajuns.'  The team returns to play Washington State at home and then on to Corvallis to play the Beavers.  Look for the annual showdown, this year at home, against BYU to attraction additional national attention if the Broncos are undefeated.  Let's that happens and the Broncos make college football history again.
