Go ahead, I dare you...ask coaches at Boise State or Utah State who is going to under under center at quarterback for either team, see what happens!

I guarantee you'll get the evil eye and absolutely no comment.

The Broncos and Aggie's collide in Logan Saturday night with a division title, even a trip to the Mountain West Championship game on the line. Boise State is 6-0 in division play, Utah State 5-1. Air Force is also 5-1 but the Falcons lost to Boise State and beat Utah State so you know who the cadets will be pulling for Saturday.

Bottom line, a Boise State win clinches the title and the home field for the Mountain West title game December 7th at 2pm.

What makes this game that much harder to predict is the quarterback mystery in both camps. Jordan Love left the Aggies game against Wyoming Saturday with an undisclosed injury and when asked about Love's availability for the BSU game, Utah State coach Gary Anderson said "No comment, it's really too early."

As BSU fans know, the Broncos went with third string quarterback Jaylon Henderson who simply led a 42-9 win over New Mexico and was named the Mountain West offensive player of the week.

Harsin did say he felt things were getting better in the Bronco quarterback room meaning injuries to Hank Bachmeier and Chase Cord are on the mend but stopped there, giving no indication if either would be ready to play Saturday.

Both were suited up and on the sidelines for the New mexico game but neither played, nor were they needed.

It's that time of the year where injuries can play a role in the outcome of a game and Saturday night both Utah State and Boise State are eyeballing challenges even as the stakes have never been higher.
