Former Boise State golf standout Graham DeLaet remained on the leaderboard all week at the PGA Phoenix Open golf tournament. DeLaet finished just 5 shots off the pace and earned $180,900 dollars after finishing with a score of 272, 12 under par.

Hideki Matsuyama beat Webb Simpson on the fourth hole of a playoff to earn the top prize of 1.2 million, both finished regulation at 17 under par..

DeLaet was within a couple of shots through three rounds but finished with a 71, his worst round of the tournament to fall five shots back.
