The ECHL All-Star game was played Wednesday in Wichita with the East beating the West 4-3. Brady Norrish was the only Idaho Steelhead named to the West Conference All-Stars but that's because the ECHL names just one player from each team with the exception of the host team, in this case Wichita.

Norrish however was also part of the skills competition, specifically the "Hot Shot Event."

The object is to score goals but also to put some serious speed on the shots. Norrish did just that registering a 95 mile per hour slap shot and a pair of goals. That was more than enough to win the "Hot Shot Event."

Norrish and the rest of the Steelheads return to action Friday night in  Kansas City.
