Boise State says their goal each week is to go 1-0. It's a mantra designed to keep everything in focus and in perspective but there is no question this Saturdays tussle at Oklahoma State will be hard to keep in perspective.

The excitement for Boise State football continues to rise following their 62-7 win over UCONN and their ascension to 17th in the AP football poll.

The 2-0 Broncos and 2-0 Cowboys, now ranked 24th in the AP poll, will collide Saturday afternoon in what might well be an old fashioned wild west shootout!

Oklahoma State has beaten Missouri State 58-17 and South Alabama 55-13 to start their season while Boise State beat Troy 56-20 and UCONN 62-7.

BSU averaging 59 points per game to Oklahoma State's 56.5. Boise State allowing 13 points  game and the Cowboys 15. The offensive similarities continue is every statistical category.

Despite the Broncos higher ranking Oklahoma State is favored by 3 1/2pts because they are at home and a power 5 conference team.

That's okay by Boise State because sometimes it's easier going into a game the underdog especially on the road to a place like Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Obviously there will be nothing easy about this game but then we knew that going into the season. Nothing has changed expect both teams have lived up to their obligations by dominating their first two games to make Saturday's Boise State-Oklahoma State game one of, if not the most intriguing football game o the day.
