Boise State football coach Bryan Harsin is one of nine finalists for the Eddie Robinson Award for college football coach of the year.

Not on that list is Nick Rolovich of Hawaii who won the Mountain West coach of the year honors which may speak to some Boise State bias in the league.

Harsin is 64-16 in his sixth season at Boise State and this is his second 12 win season and fifth 10 win season. The 2019 Broncos also went 9-0 in Mountain West plays, 8-0 in the regular season and then the 31-10 win over Hawaii in the championship game. This was the first time Boise State has gone undefeated in Mountain West play.

Boise State is currently ranked 18th in the AP football poll and 19th in the CFP poll with one game remaining, December 21st in the Las Vegas Bowl against the Washington Huskies coached by former Boise State coach Chris Petersen.

Washington has been made an early three point favorite in that game but the Broncos are 4-0 in previous Vegas Bowls with wins over Oregon, Utah, Arizona State and Washington, 28-26.
