BSU Walk-off Homer in Extra Innings

Boise State pulled out all the stops to beat Nevada 7-5 in Mountain West softball action.

Trailing 5-4 in the bottom of the 7th inning and down to their final out, Cassidy Edwards slapped a single and then scored on a double by Corey Hendrickson and the game went extra innings tied 5-5.

In the bottom of the 8th Boise States Izzy Serrano blasted a two run walk-off homer as the Broncos won the game 7-5. Serrano had quite the afternoon going 3 for 4 and 3 RBI.

Boise State is now 28-18 overall and will wrap up the Mountain West regular season with a three game series at New Mexico starting Thursday.
