Coyote Softball Season Ends in Mississippi

The College of Idaho Softball season came to a close today in Hattiesburg, Mississippi with a 5-1 loss to Vanguard of California. The Coyotes needed to beat the Lions twice to advance to the NAIA World Series in Springfield, Missouri but Vanguard, the top seed in the Mississippi region took care of business in the first game.

The Coyotes went 2-2 in Mississippi with both losses to Vanguard including a 7-5 heartbreaker yesterday.

C of I completes their best season in school history with a 40-17 record, the 40 wins a single season best.
