The  high school baseball season is new but the teams to beat are the same. In 5A the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies received 10 of 12 first place votes from the coaches to rank first. Timberline received the other first place ballots to rank second.

Capital, Mountain View and Eagle complete the coaches baseball top 5.

In 4A Skyview collected 5 of 8 first place votes to rank first, Bishop Kelly is second with 2 first place ballots and Vallivue third receiving the final first place vote.

Middleton and Caldwell complete the top 5.

Rocky Mountain, 22-5 last year is now 10-2 this season as they compete in a spring tournament in Arizona. In fact both Grizzly losses are to a team from Monarch, Colorado.
