Rocky Mountain and Kuna continue to be the unanimous picks for number one in the 5A and 4A Idaho high school football polls. Both teams are 6-0.

In fact neither poll changed at all from last week. In 5A the grizzlies are followed by Mountain View, Eagle, Highland and Coeur d'Alene with Rigby and Borah each getting a vote.

The 4A poll has Kuna on top followed by Nampa Bishop Kelly, Vallivue and Blackfoot. Week seven of the season could bring some changes however.

The top rated Kuna Kavemen hit the road for the second straight week to face a top 5 team. Last Friday in the McDonald's game of the week on 630 The Fan Kuna won at no.4 Vallivue 34-28 and now this Friday the Kavemen travel to no.3 Bishop Kelly.

Meantime the second ranked Nampa Bulldogs hit the road to Middleton. The Bulldogs are 5-1 and Middlleton is 4-2 and while not ranked in the Top 5 the Vikings are coming off a win against Ridgevue in which they put up 80 points!

The Nampa at Middleton game is our McDonald's game of the week on 630 The Fan.

The 3A standings still have Sugar-Salem in the top spot. They received 6 of 8 first place votes despite a 4-1 record compared to the 6-0 records of 2nd ranked Homedale and 3rd place Wesier.

Timberlake 5-0 is 4th followed by 5-1 Gooding. I'm thinking it'll take the playoffs to determine who really is best in 3A football.

Here now is the final three game radio schedule for the regular season on 630 The Fan:

October 11 Nampa @ Middleton  7pm

October 18 Borah @ Mountain View  7pm

October 25  Capital @ Eagle  7pm
