**REVISED**  Power has been restored in the Idaho / Oregon border area but now over 2,000 residents are without power in Emmett and New Plymouth.

With temperatures in the negatives this morning, a power outage is the last thing we need but thousands have been without power since 2 a.m.

This is impacting the Idaho, Oregon border and of course was caused by extreme weather conditions.

5,375 customers were initially reported to not have power but as of 4 a.m. that number has declined to 2,175.  Areas affected are Parma, Caldwell, Notus, Wilder, Nyssa, and Adrian.  The cold temperatures are making it more difficult to get things back up and running but Idaho Power is on it.

Idaho Power is referring customers to the outage center on their website. If you don't have access to the web page, you can also call the outage line at 208-388-2323.
