Boise State junior Chandler Hutchison has been voted first team All Mountain West basketball by the leagues 11 coaches.

Hutchison averaged nearly 17 points and 8 rebounds a game as the Broncos posted a 12-6 mark in league play. He had five double-doubles on the year and was the only Mountain West player to rank in the top 10 in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals.

Yesterday Hutchison was named 2nd team All Mountain West in the media poll.

He is the third Boise State player to be named the All Mountain West first team joining Derrick marks and James Webb III.

Hutchison and the Broncos begin the Mountain West post season tournament in Las Vegas Thursday at 9:30 p.m. MST against the San Diego State-UNLV winner Wednesday night.

Hutchison was also named first team to the All District VIII team which includes seven western states. The voting is by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association.
