Idaho Prep Playoff Preview

The regular high school football season is over, time for the playoffs to begin Friday night including a 5A showdown with Lake City at Mountain View live on The Fan, 630 am and 105.5 fm.

Kickoff will be 7 pm and the winner will advance to play at Coeur d'Alene who earned a first round bye.

Other 5A games Friday include Capital at Eagle. This is a repeat of last Fridays final regular season game between the two won by Eagle and broadcast on The Fan.

Fridays winner gets to travel to Rigby to face the Trojans who have a first round bye.

Also Friday, Highland is at Madison with the winner getting Borah at Dona Larsen Park.  Borah is 7-2 and earned a first round bye. The Borah-Highland/Madison game will be broadcast on the Fan 630 am and 105.5 fm.

Last but not least in 5A is Timberline at Post Falls with the winner getting N0.1 ranked Rocky Mountain a week from Friday. The Grizzlies 9-0 and riding a 21 game win streak earned the 5A top seed.

In 4A playoff action Friday:

Middleton at Moscow, Pocatello at Kuna, Canyon Ridge at Bishop Kelly and in a pair of games to be played Friday at Holt Arena in Pocatello,..... Vallivue vs. Skyline at 5:30 pm followed by Nampa vs. Century at 8:15 pm.
