The Dallas Cowboys say they will likely keep three quarterbacks on the roster which means Kellen Moore would have a job. Moore was the odds on favorite to backup Dak Prescott as the pre-season began but Dallas signed Cooper Rush for insurance and they are already getting dividends.

Rush has put up better stats than Moore who has never been a Dallas fan favorite but has been a coaches favorite because they like what he brings to the team.

Thus it appears the Cowboys will keep both Rush and Moore.

Meantime in Tampa, the Buccaneers aren't very pleased with former Boise State running back Jeremy McNichols who was yanked from a game last Saturday for missing a block that led to a QB sack. Tampa Bay coach Dirk Koetter, a former Boise State head coach said of McNichols, "he's going to get our quarterback killed."

McNichols is expected to see action in the Buccaneers final preseason game tonight against Washington, his final chance to avoid Saturdays final cut.
