Is former Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore about to trade in his cleats for a clipboard as the QB coach for the Dallas Cowboys? That's the talk in Dallas and just like Kellen's playing days with the Cowboys there is a lot of controversy. Some of the problem is not with Kellen as much as Dallas offensive coordinator Scott Linehan. The Cowboys offensive performance tailed off at the end of the season and many are calling for Linehan to be fired, not to be calling the shots to fill coaching vacancies. Dallas has already begun the process of changing the coaching staff and Moore is definitely in the conversation. Linehan and Moore go way back and because Linehan is getting criticized Moore is along for the ride. Plus, there is talk Moore and Dak Prescott the Cowboys QB aren't exactly teacher-student material. I've always believed Kellen Moore would be a great coach and a perfect fit for the Boise State sideline. Maybe it's time to bolt Dallas, embrace college football and do what I think Kellen Moore was born to do, coach football.
