When asked yesterday about Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy, Boise State coach Bryan Harsin said he had nothing but respect for the Cowboys leader but with a smile admitted the two are very different beginning with their hairstyles.

So it came as no surprise when Gundy held his weekly press conference in Stillwater wearing a sweatshirt and then quickly changed into a striped referees uniform!

That's when Gundy announced this would be "Stripe The Stadium" week in Stillwater with Boise State coming to town.

Gundy told the media, "everyone knows how much I love the officials, we are all friends said Gundy, so Saturday "we'll kill two birds with one stone by "Striping the Stadium" to honor officials and create a great fan atmosphere for Boise State."

It was classic Gundy who knows this is a big game for the Cowboys who despite being ranked behind the Broncos are favored by 3 1/2pts.

Gundy says the out of conference games are always big for the Big 12 and claims he hasn't thought once about Boise State's win over Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl even though the question has been raise this week in Stillwater.

Oklahoma State has beaten an FCS team and a weak South Alabama program for a 2-0 start. Boise State was expected to be tested at Troy but wasn't and then came the laugher over UCONN.

Saturday it's what college football games are meant to be...a pair of ranked teams with plenty at stake, plenty to learn about both squads and while this is the first meeting ever between BSU and Oklahoma State, it almost seems like these two could be natural rivals.

Maybe Gundy and Big 12 football fans haven't completely forgotten about the black eye BSU handed the Big 12 with their win over the Sooners after all!
