Boise State quarterback Brett Rypien is learning from the best at the Steve Clarkson QB Retreat in California.

Among the QB's on hand is Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson of Louisville, a chance for the signal callers to talk to one another about the pressure they're under, what they go through and how best to handle everything.

Rypien will be back in town Tuesday for the start of the summer player run practices that Rypien say will be critical because of all the new faces on the BSU roster.

Boise State will also unveil a new look uniform on Tuesday. It will be the first uniform tweak since 2011 when the broncos left the WAC for the Mountain West.

As for the summer workouts, it'll be a chance for Rypien to really establish himself as the team leader. Coaches are not allowed, it's all up to the players and Rypien says the team hasn't accomplished it's goal of a Mountain West title and now is the time to take it to that level.

Rypien says he knows the team is hungry and he'll do everything he can to make sure Boise State is once again on of the top offenses in the country.
