Call it a grudge match. Sun Valley's Hilary Knight, a captain for Team USA's women's hockey team, will lead the ladies in their quest for gold.

Knight's back for her third winter Olympics and has earned a trip to the gold medal game each time.  Unfortunately, Knight's journey at the games has never ended on the top of the podium. Team USA fell to Canada in the finals at both the 2010 Vancouver and 2014 Sochi games.

The 2014 loss was the more heart breaking of the two.  Knight's teammates Meghan Duggan and Alex Carpenter had their team up 2-0 with five minutes left in the third period. Canada netted a quick pair of goals to send the game in to overtime, where they eventually went on to win 3-2.  Many consider it the longest 20 minutes in American hockey.

Tonight, Team USA hopes to break the Olympic silver curse.  They face off against Canada at 9:10 p.m. MT. The teams have already met once in PyeongChang.  Canada won that match up in group play 2-1.

Knight's had a great tournament so far, helping lead the team's comeback win against Finland with an assist on the go-ahead goal in the team's opening game. Her first goal of the Olympic tournament game in the US's dominating 5-0 win over Finland in the semifinals.

She's got star power on her side too. For most of the Olympics, SNL's Leslie Jones has been tweeting her support for not just the team, but Knight specifically.  That's earned her the nickname "Penalty Box Jones" from Knight herself.

NOTE: The game will NOT be part of NBC's primetime coverage tonight, but will be broadcast live on NBCSN. That's channel 220 on DirecTV, 159 on Dish Network and 137 or 1137 on Cable One.
