Big 12 Expansion

We're still a few months away from the return of our beloved college football. This time of year is when conferences get together to review their schedules and discuss the future of one of the country's most popular sports.

It finally had to happen, and last week it was disclosed that the Big 12, that's  just ten teams, will expand perhaps by as many as four teams.  What's different from this year's list of usual suspects of potential members is college football's favorite underdog, Boise State.

Forget commissioners and chancellors deciding the fate of college football expansion.  Imagine what would happen if Big 12 Fans actually picked the two teams that should join the conference?  Forget a republic, when it comes to college football, we want a democracy and here's why.
