Thanksgiving is less than 10 away and it's obvious that the stores are moving towards Christmas already. We've noticed things moving closer like opening times, sales, and holiday events.

The pandemic has changed so much and that's why you might be seeing sales so early. I think stores don't want to take chances of getting closed because of the virus. That's why this Christmas event could be the best in 2020. Welcome, Christmas In Color.

This is new to the Treasure Valley which could be an annual must attend. Christmas In Color is like a holiday parade that your family becomes part of the party. You get to pile everyone up in your pickup trucks, SUVs, and vehicles to ride through 1.5 million Christmas lights that surround you like a virtual reality experience.

Santa Claus will be your Dj for the night playing music right through your radio that is instantly synced to all the spectacular lights. It reminds me of something out of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but everything is outdoors. Reach out and take photos of the giant candy canes and look up to see the mesmerizing arched lights.

This will be a great, safe, and fun event that your kids might really enjoy. I know my son and daughter are going to love it. This is the official socially safe Drive-Thru animated light show. There is one cost per vehicle and some of that goes towards the Make-A-Wish Foundation. You can also choose from several times that seem to run every 30 minutes beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Check out the video and it might give you an idea of the vehicle you want to ride in. I can see kids piling up in the pickup, bundled up in blankets, and just having the Christmas experience of the year. I think we all need that. Christmas In Color goes from Nov. 20 - Jan 2.
