Three Boise State Softball Players Named All-Pacific
Three Boise State softball players have been named to the NFCA All-Pacific Region teams.
Bradie Fillmore and Kora Wade were named to the region’s first team, while Rebekah Cervantes was a third-team selection.
This is the first time Fillmore has garnered All-Pacific region honors. The junior joined the program as a transfer from Cal this past season, and led the program with 15 home runs on the year. Fillmore also batted in a team-high 50 runs, and was named to the All-Mountain West first team earlier in the week.
This is the second time Wade has been honored by the NFCA in her career, as she was named to the region’s third-team last season as a junior. The versatile senior from Lake Elsinore, Calif., leads the Broncos with a .418 batting average, and has registered 25 stolen bases this season.
Cervantes ends her Boise State career as a three-time All-Region selection. The senior was named to the Pacific Region’s third-team at shortstop after batting .361 on the year. Cervantes leads the program with 27 extra-base hits, including 11 home runs.
Boise State had five players named to the All-Mountain West team earlier this week. The Broncos were selected for the NCAA Tournament for the second-straight season, and they will open play at the Gainesville Regional, May 17, against Stanford. The game will be aired on ESPNU at 10 a.m. MT.
