Top Five Showdown Brewing in Boys Basketball

Patterns are beginning to form in boys high school basketball. In 5A Rocky Mountain and Boise continue to rule the Treasure Valley. The Grizzlies are second in the latest state basketball poll with Boise fourth.

Rocky Mountain and Boise collide next Tuesday at Boise high in a special broadcast of the Taco Bell game of the week here on 630 The Fan. Tip off at 7:30 p.m.

Meantime in 4A, Bishop Kelly rules the roost and just last night BK was able to outlast 5th ranked Middleton 61-59. It was Middleton's first week in the top 5 and at 5-6 overall will most likely drop out next week despite taking the top team right down to the wire.
