Two More Idahoan’s Headed To Sochi Olympics
The list of Idaho Olympians continues to grow as 24 year old Kaitlyn Farrington who grew up on a cattle ranch in Bellevue and on the slopes of Sun Valley, will make her Olympic debut in women’s snowboard halfpipe. She has won multiple X Games medals.
Jessika Jenson, a 2009 graduate of Rigby High, will compete in slope-style; which is making its Olympic debut. Jenson is from Eastern Idaho.
Other Idaho residents who have qualified for the 2014 Sochi Olympics include:
- Sara Studebaker (Boise High), biathlon
- Nick Cunningham (Boise State track and field), bobsled
- Hilary Knight (Sun Valley), women’s hockey
- Nate Holland (Sandpoint), snowboardcross
