The 2017 Idaho State Cup youth soccer tournament is in the books and now the focus is Seattle and the Far West Regionals June 19-25.

When all was said and done Monday Memorial Day, 11 Idaho teams were crowned state champions.

Maybe the biggest surprise was the parody amongst Treasure Valley youth soccer clubs. Last year the Boise Nationals dominated the competition but this year the titles were spread evenly.

Idaho Rush won three boys titles claiming crowns in U-13, U-14 and U-19/20 plus Rush won a pair of girls championships in U-13 and U-14. That's 5 combined crowns, one more than the Nationals and FC Nova.

The only club from outside the Treasure Valley to win a state soccer title was the girls U-17 team from Coeur d'Alene who beat FC Nova Gold 3-2 for the crown.
